Beijing-China will develop nine coastal region refining bases as part of its plan to boost the country's petrochemical sector, the official Xinhua News Agency reported. The project includes construction of new refineries in Sichuan, Guangzhou, Quanzhou and Shanghai, and upgrading of the Zhenhai and Maoming refineries.
