Petronet Board Gives Nod to Acquisition Of 10% Stake in ONGC Petro-Additions

New Delhi-The board of Petronet LNG has approved the .company's acquisition of a 10% interest in ONGC Petro-Additions Ltd. (Opal), said local reports citing Petronet-Managing Diector and Chief Executive P. Dasgupta. Opal is building an Rs 13,600 crore petrochemical complex in Dahej, Gujaret, India, that includes facilities to produce 1.1-million t/y of ethylene, 340,000 t/y of propylene, 135,000 t/y of benzene and 95,000 t/y of butadiene.
