Toray Completes Malaysian ABS Boost

Kuala Lumpur- Toray Industries, in reporting results for the quarter ending 30 June 2008, said it has increased capacity for its Toyolac acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) resin in Malaysia. In 2006, the company announced it would invest ￥10-billion to increase its Toyolac ABS capacity in Penang, Malaysia, to 330,000 t/y from 220,000 t/y (PCN, 24 Apr 06, p 1).
