China Confirms Dumping of Caprolactam

Beijing— China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has issued a final ruling confirming that dumping exists in caprolactam imported from the European Union (EU) and U.S., and it has caused "substantial damage" to the Chinese caprolactam industry (PCN, 31 Jan 2011, p 3). From 22 Oct. 2011, "importers of EU and the U.S. caprolactam should pay anti-dumping tax at the Chinese Customs in accordance with the anti-dumping rate determined bv the ruling." said MOFCOM.
