Toyo Engineering Awards KBR Contract For Kaltim Ammonia and Urea Project

Bontang-Toyo Engineering Corp. has awarded KBR a licensing and basic engineering services contract for the ammonia and urea project being established by PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) in Bontang, East Kalimantan, Indonesia (PCN, 4 Apr 2011, p 1). Identified as "the largest urea and ammonia manufacturing company in Indonesia," Kaltim is building facilities for the production of 2,500 t/d of ammonia and 3,500 t/d of urea. Toyo earlier received a lump-sum turnkey contract for the project's engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services.
