Jiangsu-Sun-Vic Chemical Holdings Ltd. says it has started up the first 160,000-t/y acrylic acid plant at its Taixing complex in China's Jiangsu Province (PCN, 7 Mar 2011, p 1).A second 160,000-t/y acrylic acid plant is scheduled to come on stream in the first half of fiscal 2012.
