TPX Is Retrofitting Sriracha Facility To ExxonMobil's PxMaxsm Process

Houston-Thai Par-axylene Co. Ltd. (TPX) is retrofitting its petrochemical facility in Sriracha, Thailand, to the use of ExxonMobil's PxMaxsm technology.The state-of-the-art PxMaxsm technology, used for selective toluene disproportionation (TDP), will replace a nonselective TDP process, and will provide TPX with a paraxy-lene-enriched mixture that is further processed into sales grade paraxylene.
