DSM Finalizes Sale to Maire Tecnimont Of Stamicarbon Urea Licensing Unit.

Heerlen-DSM on 6 Oct. completed the sale of its Stamicarbon urea licensing subsidiary to Maire Tecnimont for a total consideration of ?38-million on a cash and debt-free basis (PCN, 3 Aug 09, p 1).Maire Tecnimont will fully consolidate Stamicarbon from 6 Oct. onwards, and earlier said Stamicarbon will operate alongside Tecnimont and continue to generate licensing revenues and margins as a standalone activity.
