Moscow-Russian chemical producer EuroChem said it has received U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) approval to export urea to the U.S. duty-free after more than a 20-year absence in the American market. In 1987, the USITC placed a 68.26% anti-dumping duty on urea from the Soviet Union, a level that was extended to all republics following the decline of the Soviet Union and continued after scheduled reviews by the USITC in 1999 and 2005.
