Brazil's Chemical Exports Increasing

Sao Paulo-Brazil's exports of chemicals totaled (US) $10.7-billion for 2007, an increase of 19.6% from 2006, according to Abiquim, the Brazilian chemical industry association. At the same time, however, imports rose 37.8% to "a record" $23.9-billion, Abiquim noted.
