Malaysia's DOE Will Closely Monitor Petronas' Sabah NH3/Urea Project

Kuala Lumpur— Petronas Chemical Group's proposed Sabah ammonia and urea facility will be closely monitored by Malaysia's Dept. of Environment (DOE), the Malaysian National News Agency reported. The project, expected to cost up to $l-billion, will have the capacity to produce 2,100 t/d of ammonia and 3,500 t/d of urea when it begins operations in the third quarter of 2014 (PCN, 8 Nov 2010, p 1).
