Kinetic Modelling of a System of Competitive Consecutive Reactions and Its Experimental Verification

A number of chemical reactions can be described formally by a set of consecutive reactions of the type: A + B -> C + D (I) A + C -> E. The respective mathematical description leads to a set of two coupled ordinary differential equations, wihch can be simplified for the limiting cases: [A] [B] and [B] [A].
