TPPI Offers Pertamina 13% Stake To Help Repay $350-Million Debt

Jakarta-PT Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI) has offered a 13% stake in its company to Pertamina in order to pay off a $350-million debt to the company, reported the Jakarta Post. Pertamina currently has a 15% interest in TPPI. The agreement would give Pertamina a 28% equity in the company. PT Tuban Petrochemical Industries has a 59.5% controlling stake in TPPI and the remaining 25.5% is held by foreign shareholders.
