Yara Files Application to Prequalify For Tender in Odessa Port Plant

Kiev-Yara International said it has applied to the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) to receive documents for the tender for the privatization of Odessa Port Plant (OPP). The SPFU last year decided to delay the sale of the government's 99.5% interest in OPP, owner and operator of two ammonia and two urea plants in Yuchny, Ukraine, with combined capacities of about 1.1-million t/y and 900,000 t/y, respectively (PCN, 18 Feb 08, p 3).
