Fort Mill. SC-Wellman Inc. said its shareholders have "overwhelmingly voted to support a modified plan of reorganization," which would allow the company to emerge from bankruptcy in January 2009 rather than December 2008 as planned (PCN, 24 Nov 08, p 3). The plan, modified slightly from the plan filed in November, includes first and second lien holders receiving third lien convertible notes in the reorganized company, in exchange for the pre-petition claims.
