Air Products Venture to Supply ASU To PetroChina's Sichuan Complex

Shanshai-Air Products' Chinese joint venture company Chengdu Air and Gas Products Co. has signed an agreement to build an air separation unit (ASU) for PetroChina's refinery and ethylene complex in Sichuan, China (PCN, 4 Aug 08, p 1). The unit will supply oxygen and nitrogen to PetroChina's new 10-million-t/y refinery and 800,000-t/y ethylene plant, which are due to come on stream in 2011.
