Stolt Cancels Third SLS Newbuilding

London-Stolt Tankers last week said it has cancelled a third newbuilding contract with SLS Shipbuilding Co. of South Korea citing extended delivery delays (PCN, 6 July 09, p 4). Stolt, which is currently in arbitration with SLS over cancellation of the first and second newbuilding, in a series of four 44,000-dwt coated parcel tankers ordered from SLS, said the fourth tanker is also experiencing "substantial" construction delays.
