Lanxess Enters Long-Term Agreement For Butyl Rubber Supply to Hankook

Leverkusen-Lanxess AG and Hankook Tire have signed a five-year agreement under which Lanxess will supply "large volumes" of butyl rubber to Hankook. The agreement, covering the period from 2010 to 2014, follows a five-year contract signed between the two companies in 2007 for the supply of styrene butadiene and polybutadiene rubber to Hankook for the production of tires.
