PetroVietnam Setting up New Company For Production, Distribution of Biofuel

Hanoi-Vietnam Oil & Gas Corp. (PetroVietnam) will set up a new company for the production and distribution of biofuel using ethanol from cassava, local sources said. The new PetroVietnam Biofuel Joint Stock Co. will be located in the Binh Son District of Quang Ngai, Vietnam, as part of the government's biofuel development program started last year. Capacities of the new plant were not disclosed.
