Lanxess Relocating Rubber Production To Jhagadia, India, from Thane Site

Jhagadia-Lanxess has announced plans to relocate its Indian "rubber chemicals" production to Jhagadia, in Gujarat state, from Thane, Ma-harastra, at a cost of about 50-million. From 2010 the company said it will start supplying the Indian tire market with "rubber chemicals" from the site. The company noted that start of production in Jhagadia will coincide with the launch of a new ion exchange resin facility in Jhagadia.
