Huntsman Reaches Definitive Deal To Acquire Laffans Chems Business

The Woodlands-Huntsman Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the chemicals business of Laffans Petrochemicals.Huntsman said it will integrate Laffans' chemicals business, which is located in Ankleshwar, India, into its Performance Products Division. Subject to certain terms and conditions, the sale is expected to close in the first half of 2011.
