Hexion Specialty Exercises Right to Extend Termination Date for Huntsman Merger

Houston-Hex-ion Specialty Chemicals has exercised its right to extend the termination date for its planned merger with Huntsman Corp. to 4 July 2008 from 5 Apr. 2008 (PCN, 10 Mar 08, p 3). In January, Hexion notified Huntsman that in connection with the two companies' agreement to give the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) additional time to review the merger proposal, Hexion intended to extend the merger agreement.
