Sasol Focusing on Ningxia CTL Project; Will Not Proceed with Shaanxi Study

Johannesburg- Sasol said it has agreed with Shenhua Ningxia Coal Group to focus "full attention" on the feasibility study for an 80,000-b/d coal-to-liquids (CTL) facility in China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (PCN, 26 June 06, p 3). With the greater focus on the Ningxia feasibility study, Sasol noted that the feasibility study for a proposed 80,000-b/d CTL project in Shaanxi "will not proceed at this stage."
