PolyOne Continues Transformation With the Realignment of Facilities

Cleveland-PolyOne said it is realigning certain of its manufacturing assets, primarily in North America, as the next step in its strategic transformation. Over the next nine months, the company will close production facilities in Commerce, Calif.; Macedonia, Ohio; Plaque-mine, La; St. Peters, Mo.; Sussex, Wis., and Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada. The plant in Bolton Lancashire, UK, and building 452 of the Avon Lake, Ohio, production facility will be closed as well. The closures are expected by 31 Mar. 2009.
