Titan Boosting Polyolefins Production

Kuala Lumpur- Titan Chemicals plans to increase production of polyolefins in Malaysia to 480,000 t/y by 2008 from 380,000 t/y currently,said local reports quoting Titan Managing Director Thomas P.Grehl."The stable outlook for polyolefins amid a slower supply growth and steady demand will continue to boost revenue growth next year," he noted.Stating that the company will continue investing in Malaysia and Indonesia,Grehl added that Titan is "aiming for a 50% market share in Indonesia" compared to 22% in the fourth quarter of 2006.
