Asahi Kasei Expanding Styrene Unit,Closing Older Mizushima Production

Tokyo-Asahi Kasei Chemicals(AKC)plans to increase the capacity of an existing 300,000-t/y styrene plant at its Mizushima complex to 320,000 t/y in October 2007 and,at the same time,shut down an older 150,000-t/y styrene line at the site.
