Qatar's SEEF Ltd.Inaugurates Country's 1st LAB Production

Doha-SEEF Ltd.,a joint venture owned 80% by Qatar Petroleum and 20% by United Development,has started up Qatar's first facility for the production of linear alkyl benzene(LAB).The plant,designed to produce 100,000 t/y of LAB,is located in Mesaieed adjacent to the Qatar Petroleum refinery,which will supply feedstock and allow for the sharing of certain common utilities(PCN,26 Jan 04,p 3).
