摘要

A field experiment was conducted for two consecutive years to evaluate the comparative bioefficacy of promising insecticides against early shoot borer and internode borer (Chilo infuscatellus Snellen) in sugarcane. The mean data of two years revealedthat spraying of acephate 75SP @ 1 gm/lt and flufenoxuron 10 EC @lml/lt were found to be the most effective in minimizing the damage due to early shoot borer and internode borer as well as in increasing the yields over check. All the insecticidal treatments were significantly superior to untreated control in suppressing early shoot borer and internode borer incidence. The over all mean efficacy of the treatments in the descending order was acephate 75SP, flufenoxuron 10EC, endosulfan 35EC, profenophos 50EC + multineem, malathion 50EC, multineem, dimethoate 30EC.
