摘要

Hydroxytriazenes are well known cheiating agents, having been extensively used in both spectrophotometric and complexometric reagents for transition metal determination as revealed by reviews appearing on them. Apart from the analytical application inrecent years they have also been screened for their biological activity including inseeticidal activity in our laboratories. In the present investigation nine hydroxytriazenes have been synthesized and screened for their insecticidal activity against one day old males of fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster Meig).
