摘要

It was shown that salicylhydroxamic acid (SHAM), a well-known inhibitor of alternative oxidase, an inhibitor of catechol oxidase and an inhibitor of lipoxygenase, substantially inhibited the mycelium growth and limited melanins accumulation in the mycelium of Phoma narcissi on PDA medium. SHAM evidently limited red pigment accumulation in the wounded scales of Hippeastrum bulbs, and inhibited the growth and development of P. narcissi on basal plate and scales of vertically cut Hippeastrum bulbs. Themechanism of the inhibitory effect of SHAM on the mycelium growth and colouration of P. narcissi on PDA medium and on in vivo development of the pathogen on Hippeastrum scales and basal plate, including the inhibitory effect on the red pigment accumulation in wounded scales of Hippeastrum, is discussed.
