CHEAP TRUCK CHALLENGE: Buy a cheap truck and challenge yourself and others on the best bang-for-the-buck price and upgrades. The idea is to think like the 16-year-old kid flipping burgers for a living and wanting to get into wheeling, like many of us started as. Tech Editor Fred Williams dreamed this up and, for the second year of the challenge, came up with rules and regulations that even I had to comply with. Fred's first rule was that I couldn't do an open-top Jeep, or any Jeep for that matter.
