Effect of certain botanicals and insecticides against fruit flies of mandarin orange

Selective insecticides and botanicals alone and insecticide spray followed by botanical spray were tried against fruit flies, Bactrocera dorsalis of mandarin orange. Adopting insecticides (Fenthion or DDVP or Endosulfan) as first spray and Jatropha oil or neem oil for the subsequent sprays is highly useful in reducing the damage by fruit flies.
