摘要

Thiamethoxam 70 WS as a seed dress for soybean was highly effective in reducing the seedling borers, stemfly and girdle beetle infestation (7.90 and 5.85%) and increasing the seed yield (2328 kg/ha) compared to soil application of carbofuran, phorateand untreated check. The seed dress with thiamethoxam resulted in 742.50 kg/ha additional yield over untreated check and 15.76 per cent increase in seed yield over recommended practice of soil application of carbofuran granules. No phytotoxic symptoms atany of the dosages (4.5, 9.0 and 18.0 g/kg seed) of thiamethaxom were observed on soybean.
