摘要

A capillary gas chromatograhic method has been developed for simultaneous determination of etofenprox and fenvalerate from emulsified concentrate formulation. These two pesticides are used in combination for controlling a wide variety of insects. Themethod uses dura bond 1701 (DB 1701) capillary column of 30 metre length with the nitrogen flow rate 2.0 ml/min. Oven temperature was maintained at 270 degrees for 10 minutes Dinaphthyl ether was used as internal standard for both the pesticides. Injector and flame ionization detector was at 250 and 280 degrees respectively. Linear response was observed from 1 to 6 mg/ml for etofenprox and 2 to 12 mg/ml for fenvalerate and the average accuracy observed was 98.83 percent and 100.04 percent respectively.
