Supercritical fluids offer many opportunities for the Integration of synthesis and Separation in one process unit.One ex-ample is the partial oxidation of aldehydes.For optimization of the reaction conditions and understanding the reaction pathways the phase behavior of all components in the sys-tem,chemical identification of all products and determina-tion of the kinetic data as conversion degrees and rates for the starting materials,intermediates,and products formed during a reaction are of fundamental importance.The corre-sponding information can be obtained by using different on-/in-line analytical approaches.For our investigations two different,but complimentary high pressure devices have been designed and built:
