Field evaluation of Deltamethrin formulations (Decis tab and 1.8 EC) against cotton insect pests

A new formulation of insecticide Deltamethrin (Decis tablet) was evaluated along with EC formulation of Decis in comparison with cypermethrin, fenvalerate, endosulfan and monocrotophos against cotton insect pests. Tablet formulation @ 12.5 gal/ha wasfound to be superior in reducing pest complex and produced better yields. EC formulation of Decis @ 1 2.5 gai/ha was found equally effective.
