Monsanto and Dow Agrosciences agree to share technologies

Dow AgroSciences and Monsanto Company last week announced a global business agreement aimed at resolving outstanding legal disputes and providing new product options to their farmer customers.Noting that one of the outstanding lawsuits dated back to 1996,Monsanto spokesman Lee Quarles said the agreement allows the two companies to "move beyond focusing on the courtroom to focusing on our farmer customers.It's an opportunity for two technology leaders to offer additional products that wouldn't be available otherwise."
