Sulfometuron methyl RED amended

On Jan. 20 (75 FR 3233), EPA issued a notice announcing the agency's decision to modify risk mitigation measures that were specified in a 2008 Reregistration Eligibility Decision (RED) for the herbicide sulfometuron methyl. The agency's reassessment was conducted in response to public comments and risk reduction proposals received during the comment period following issuance of the sulfometuron methyl RED on Nov. 12,2008.
