Court says Goodrich challenge to CERCLA order not ripe for review

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld a lower court ruling dismissing a legal challenge by Goodrich Corp. against a Unilateral Administrative Order (UAO) issued by EPA against the company pursuant to the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and against all other such orders. UAOs direct responsible parties to clean up and take other remedial measures at hazardous waste sites.
