Spain's expectation of imports of unprocessed GA21 corn has vindicated Argentine agricultural officials who hesitantly approved commercial sale of the transgenic variety last year.Argentina's National Seed Association(INASE)reversed its ban on the sale and cultivation of GA21 corn last June,but required producers to guarantee that unprocessed GA21 corn wouldn't be commingled with conventional corn shipments bound for the European Union.
