EPA announces FIFRA Scientific Advisory Panel nominees

EPA on Aug. 12 announced the seven nominees being considered for two spots on its FIFRA Scientific Advisory Panel: 1. Michael Braverman, Manager, Biopesticide Program, Rutgers University, Princeton, N.J. -Expertise: Efficacy and environmental fate of pesticides 2. Jeffrey Fisher, Professor and Director, Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program, University of Georgia, Athens, Ga. - Expertise: Development and application of biologically based mathematical models to ascertain health risks from environmental and occupational chemical exposures.
