A former U.S.Forest Service official has sued the federal government for discrimination and wrongful termination,saying he was fired by the agency in retaliation for raising concerns about alleged pesticide misuse in national forests in the Southwest.Doug Parker,an entomologist who worked as the regional pesticide coordinator for Region 3 of the Forest Service,filed the suit last month in the U.S.District Court for the District of New Mexico.
