Corzine reintroduces legislation on chemical site security

Sen.Jon Corzine has reintroduced controversial legislation giving EPA authority over chemical site security aspart of a broad homeland security package.Within the opening days of the 108~(th) Congress,a coalitionof 16 Democrats and one independent proposed legislation that included Corzine's Chemical Security Act,a bill he introduced last session that was strongly opposed by the agricultural and chemical industries.
