Ecological agriculture can double food production says UN

Small scale farmers can double food production within five to ten years by adopting agroecological methods according to a new report by the UN. The study, based on a review of scientific literature concludes that agroecology outperforms conventional farming in regions where the poorest people live and where there is greatest stress on food production.
