Soilless culture of Anthurium in New Caledonia.

摘要

An account is presented of research on growing Anthurium in New Caledonia, using soilless culture. Plant behaviour and production methods are described. Problems are defined and remedies are discussed, These include diseases (especially Phyllostictacolocasiophylla, Fusarium oxysporum, and plant pathogenic bacteria), plant viruses, and insect pests (including Spodoptera litura, Plutella xylostella, Acari and Thysanoptera). Yield data during the year are related to temperature and solar radiation.
