Doung Gurian-Serman,science director of the biotechnology project at the Center for Science in the Public Interest,holds a PhD in plant pathology formthe Universityof California/Berkeley.Before jointing CSPItwo years ago,he reviewed pesticidal biotech crops,inlcuding StarLink,for the Environmental Protection Agency.He authored the eport cited on page 19.Here,he takes a minute to chat with FCN reporter Stephen Clapp.
