EPA officials discuss regulatory priorities for 2006

Charlie Auer,director of EPA's Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics(OPPT),called 2005 a "pretty productive year," in an interview with Pesticide & Toxic Chemical News last month,saying many of the accomplishments point the way to EPA's priorities for 2006.Auer emphasized accomplishments related to perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)and the "important steps" EPA took to "more fully understand the risks of PFOA and the sources and pathways of exposure to PFOA."
