摘要

The concept of a hypothetical particle with a field description as is commonly used forthe Higgs particle allows relating quantum physics with general relativity. This results into anexpression for the gravitational constant in terms of quantum mechanical parameters. In order toassign a quantitative figure to this expression, the field properties of the hypothetical particle areassigned to the pi-meson, which is regarded as the archetype of a two-body quark assembly.Furthermore it is shown that excited states of the two-body assembly are equivalent with theenergetic ground state of the two bodies at reduced spacing. The mass equivalent of the ground stateof the pi-meson relative to the mass equivalent of the first excitation appears to correspond with themass ratio of muons and tauons.
