Antinomies in relativity theory: Is the science settled?

By simple calculations, it is shown that the Lorentz transformation (LT) expresses an intrinsic ambiguity serious enough to disqualify as physics any relativistic kinematics built upon it. The ambiguity results from a failure to specify how relative motion is apportioned between its participants. Other LT-related antinomies are noted.
