摘要

This study aims to propose a simple general framework in which an interactionmultilevel procedure shows up effectively. In particular, a friction two-surface system is addressed in which subsequent levels of abstract intermolecular attraction versus repulsion events can be turned on and off. The procedure invented leads to an exponential, thus nonlinear, and quite powerful form of an interaction-affected (Derjaguin type) coefficient of friction. A linearized subform of it may express some interesting hydration-repulsion concerning applicability toward friction and lubrication conditions in naturally articulating joints, a primary motivation to conveying the overall procedure. Certain more general repercussions of the approach can also touch at least qualitatively upon some multidisciplinary context
